We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Thrive a great one!

Thrive Church meets every Sunday at 11:00am located at 1136 West Woodlawn, San Antonio, TX 78201

PARKING

If you’ve been to the Midtown area, you know parking is always an adventure…but well worth it!  Such is the same for Thrive Church attendees.  When you drive up to Woodlawn Avenue you are free to park all along Woodlawn and the surrounding streets on Sundays.  There is Thrive signage all up and down Woodlawn and friendly faces to help guide you in your parking endeavors.**

Priority Parking is available in the parking lot directly across the street from Thrive Church.  Priority includes anyone who needs close and reserved parking (i.e. families with kids, disabled, elderly…etc.)  A crosswalk has been created to help guide you across the street once you park, along with a volunteer to help in any way we can!

**Non-Sundays: Woodlawn Avenue parking is only permitted across the street from Thrive Church facing toward i10 and open on any side streets.  Priority Parking is still available unless further notice is given. 

What Can I Expect?

HOW LONG WILL THE SERVICE LAST?

In total, services at Thrive will last about 70-75 minutes in length.  Service begins with the Thrive Band leading the church in music – song lyrics are projected on the screen so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of service is complete, one of our pastors will come out to share a practical and grace-filled message about the hope and love of Jesus offered to everyone.

WHAT’S THE CULTURE LIKE AT THRIVE?

At Thrive, you belong just as you are. Every Sunday is energetic, casual, and relevant. Expect to feel right at home the moment you drive up to the parking lot!

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

Led by full-time teachers and nursery care workers, our church maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and care as guided by CDC and our local school districts.

We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week – and at Thrive, we make this a priority. Our kid’s ministry is led by certified early education professionals who love your kiddos. Thrive promises a CLEAN, SAFE, and FUN environment every time your kids are in our care. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in to our secure detailed check-in for the Thrive Kids experience. Kids ministry is offered for kids ages infant through Grade 5.

• Infants to Pre-School may be checked in to Kids’ Ministry for the whole hour.
• Kinder to Grade 5 may check in before the service begins. This age group enjoys worship with their families in the main auditorium and will be invited to the Kids’ Ministry experience just before the message.  A dedicated kids min leader will escort our kids to their very own kids’ space. Parents, you are always welcome to escort your kiddos to the kids’ space, however, it is not required. Secure pick-up begins following the main service.  Secure check-out begins immediately following the service.
